Hi, I'm Gary.

I've spent the last 10 years building things for startups and small businesses — websites that have helped raise hundreds of thousands in funding, big directories, tools like StrengthMapper, Boutique Hotel Jobs, and EMS — all sorts.

I started SortMySite because I got tired of watching small businesses pay £2,000–£3,000 for websites that frankly weren't worth it — or worse, give up and try to run their business off a Facebook page. That's a waste. So I'm doing this solo, deliberately keeping it small, to give small businesses the same quality of work that startups get without the startup budget.

When you sign up, you deal with me directly. Same person who builds your site is the same person who answers your emails six months later.

What's the catch?

There genuinely isn't one. I build your site free. You see a live preview. If you love it, you pay £35 or £65/month and I set it live. If you don't, you walk away — owe nothing, no card on file. I bet on the quality of what I build.
How can you do this for £35?

I'm one person with low overheads. No fancy office, no sales team, no agency markup. I've cut the slow, expensive bits of how agencies work — long pitches, six-week timelines, expensive sales calls. What's left is the actual building. Low overheads, you get a proper site, everyone wins.
What if I want changes after launch?

Edits are included. Standard gets 1 a month. Pro gets 4 a month (roughly one a week). Bigger jobs — new pages, full rewrites — are quoted fairly. I'll never surprise-bill you.
Do you build online shops?
+
Yes — taking payments, an online shop, or selling memberships are Pro features (£65/mo). Tick them when you apply and I'll build them in, with secure checkout via Stripe. Full inventory megastores are still better suited to a Shopify specialist, but for most small businesses the Pro shop does the job.
What about a domain name?

On Pro it's included — I source it, connect it and keep it renewed as part of the monthly. On Standard it's an optional extra from £20/year. Already own one? I'll connect it for free on either tier.
What if I want to cancel?

Give me 30 days' notice any time and I'll wind it up cleanly. Your domain stays in your name — you keep that. The site itself I take offline, since the design and build is what you'd be paying the monthly for. No exit fees, no awkwardness, no minimum term.
Standard vs Pro — which do I need?

Simple rule: if you just need a polished site that shows what you do and gets people calling, Standard (£35) is spot on. Go Pro (£65) the moment you want your site to do something — take online bookings, sell via a shop, run subscriptions or memberships, keep a blog, or cover multiple locations. Pro also gives you as many pages as you need, your custom domain included, and 4 priority edits a month. Not sure? Just apply — I'll recommend a tier when I look at your business.
